Established in the late 1840s, Eagle Pass has had quite its own history. What makes a city or town unforgettable are the places. One of those places was the Riskind Department Store, which was established in 1914. This historical structure benefitted not only notable politicians, generals, etc., but also regular working people.

As a project of the City of Eagle Pass to foster and bring forth an innovative approach where the past to meet the future. Introducing modern concepts and technologies for future generations and South Texas Electric was given the opportunity to bring this vision to fruition.
